We did not set out to build a product. We set out to listen.
We regard microbes, fungi and plants as sentient participants in the living systems we learn from. Their responses, relationships and functions contribute to our work. Our reciprocal commitment is to restore supporting conditions, reduce harm and attend to how they respond.

The Soil Signal Explorer translates measured living-soil signals into sound and image. Changes become perceptible alongside the data, offering another way to experience living systems.

Continuous Observation
The Soil Signal Explorer (SSE) records changes in living soil's bioelectrochemical conditions. It adds continuous temporal context between laboratory, biological and ecological measurements. For carbon applications, authoritative carbon measurements remain the anchor.

A steward finances agreed work. Soil Genesis contributes its instruments, research and delivery; the steward receives the agreed findings, technology or program. Investment participation and technology rights are negotiated separately. This allows growers and communities to benefit without their purchasing power determining the reach.
